Парламент Монтенегру adopted new legislation to protect children and young people, introducing stricter rules on firearms and young drivers. New legislation raises the minimum age for obtaining a firearms licence from 18 to 21, introduces stricter rules on the storage and safekeeping of firearms, bans the sale and use of firecrackers, prohibits the use of electric scooters by persons under the age of 16, and introduces the category of young drivers (aged 18–21).
